Description

High school student Kazuhiko Nukumizu actually just wanted to read his current favourite manga in peace and quiet in a family restaurant. Still, then, by chance, he sees his popular classmate Anna Yanami trying to confess her love to her childhood friend Sousuke Hakamada – only to row back at the last moment and wish him all the best for his relationship with her best friend, Karen Himemiya.

Kazuhiko loves romantic comedies, but in every love triangle, there is a loser, and now that he is confronted with the angry Anna, he doesn’t quite know how to deal with the situation. She recognises him too and begins to pour her heart out to him without being asked, even though they have hardly ever spoken at school. From this moment on, they keep bumping into each other, and soon, Kazuhiko finds himself in the middle of the real drama of life instead of observing it from a safe distance.
Eigentlich wollte der Oberschüler Kazuhiko Nukumizu nur in Ruhe in einem Familyrestaurant seinen aktuellen Lieblingsmanga lesen, doch dann sieht er durch Zufall, wie seine beliebte Klassenkameradin Anna Yanami versucht, ihrem Kindheitsfreund Sousuke Hakamada ihre Liebe zu gestehen – nur um im letzten Moment zurückzurudern und ihm alles Gute für seine Beziehung mit ihrer besten Freundin, Karen Himemiya, zu wünschen.

Kazuhiko liebt romantische Komödien, doch in jeder Dreiecksbeziehung gibt es auch einen Verlierer und nun, da er mit der aufgebrachten Anna konfrontiert ist, weiß er nicht so recht, wie er mit der Situation umgehen soll. Sie erkennt ihn ebenfalls und beginnt, ihm ungefragt ihr Herz auszuschütten, obwohl sie sich bisher in der Schule kaum unterhalten haben. Von diesem Moment an treffen sie immer wieder aufeinander und schon bald findet sich Kazuhiko mitten im realen Drama des Lebens wieder, anstatt es aus sicherer Distanz zu beobachten.
