Space Battleship Yamato: The New Voyage (1979)

After the battle against the empire responsible for sending the “White Comet”, the Yamato returns to Earth for repairs and to recruit new crew members. Desler is drawn back to his home planet, but once he is there, he discovers that his world has been surrounded by the Black Mist Empire’s fleet, who are exploiting the planet’s resources.
