Description

“Ulysses 31” – the story of Odysseus in an alternative future version.

Odysseus, his son Telemach and his comrades are on a mission in space with the spaceship Iris when Telemach is suddenly kidnapped by followers of a Cyclone cult. Odysseus manages to rescue him and two others, including Telnis and her brother. However, the cyclone has already awakened, and Odysseus must kill it. This draws the wrath of the gods upon him.

As punishment for his deed, the Iris and its crew are taken to a foreign galaxy, and all comrades are put into a permanent sleep. Only Odysseus, Telemach, Iris and the little robot Nono stay awake. From now on, they have to travel across space, back to Earth, to break the curse. A great adventure begins …

Odysseus, sein Sohn Telemach und seine Kameraden sind mit dem Raumschiff Iris im Weltraum auf einer Mission, als Telemach plötzlich von Anhängern einer Zyklonensekte entführt wird. Odysseus gelingt es, ihn und zwei weitere Personen, darunter Telnis und ihren Bruder, zu retten. Doch der Zyklon ist bereits erwacht und Odysseus muss ihn zerstören. Dies zieht den Zorn der Götter auf ihn.

Als Strafe für seine Tat wird die Iris samt Besatzung in eine fremde Galaxie gebracht und alle Kameraden in einen Dauerschlaf versetzt. Nur Odysseus, Telemach, Iris und der kleine Roboter Nono bleiben wach und müssen von nun an quer durch den Weltraum reisen, zurück zur Erde, um den Fluch zu brechen. Ein großes Abenteuer beginnt …
