Information

Synopsis

Princess Scarlet misses her grand goal: to avenge her father’s murder. Instead, she awakens in an intermediate world where violence and greed reign and weakness is punished with complete disappearance, with “nothingness”. Her uncle Claudius, who violently seized the throne, has also made it here and strives for the mysterious “endless place”, a source of immeasurable power. To confront him, Scarlet embarks on a journey full of dangers.

At her side is the young nurse Hijiri, who was drawn from modern Japan into this realm. While Scarlet is driven by hatred and seeks battle, Hijiri approaches everything with compassion and care – even her enemies. The contrast between them slowly forces Scarlet to question her own convictions.

But Claudius’s shadow reaches far: he sends his followers out to destroy Scarlet. On her way to the endless place, she must not only fight for her survival, but also for the answer to the crucial question: will her heart remain filled with vengeance? Or will a new path open up in it, one that Hijiri has shown her?
