Synopsis

Several years earlier, when Lu Mingfei had not yet been born, two individuals named Zero and Renata managed to escape from the facility at Black Swan Bay. Zero, in particular, was considered dangerous – some even suspected he might be one of the Dragon Kings. The prestigious Cassell College lost many brave students in their attempt to stop him. In the end, the worst could only be averted through a risky bargain: the college received a sealed object, which Chu Tianjiao was to guard until the time was right. No one realised then that these events would set the gears of fate in motion – with far-reaching consequences for the future of Lu Mingfei and Chu Zihang.

In the present day, the two are assigned a new case: during an alleged earthquake, the South Station in Lu Mingfei’s hometown was destroyed – and, of all things, important documents belonging to Cassell College vanished in the process.
