Synopsis

In one moment, Hibiki Manabe is about to step into his familiar classroom; in the next, he finds himself on an unfamiliar stretch of grass – chased by a strangely unsettling rabbit. His only support is a mysterious voice that whispers information about the world and the surrounding objects. After surviving this first danger, he begins to familiarise himself with the unusual things the voice mentioned: “skills”, the “world map”, and his peculiar profession, “Appraiser (provisional)”. Even though he understands very little, he decides to use the world map to head for the nearest town.

But danger soon strikes again – and he is saved at the last moment by the elf Emalia. Through her, he learns that many of his skills are rare, and that even though he cannot fight himself, he would be highly valued as support by adventurers. His conversations with Emalia also confirm another suspicion: this truly is an entirely different world. Together, they set off for the nearest town. There, he intends to become an adventurer, find a party, learn more about this world – and perhaps discover a way to return home.
