Description

It’s the start of a new year for the Genshiken crew, and that means recruiting new members. Always a dreaded task, The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture manages to get Chika Ogiue pushed onto them from the Manga Club. With her introduction of "I’m Ogiue and I hate otaku", this year certainly will be anything but boring.

Ein neues Semester beginnt an der Uni und damit ist auch wieder die Zeit gekommen, neue Mitglieder in den Genshiken-Club aufzunehmen. Wie auch schon im Vorjahr gestaltet sich die Suche nach geeigneten Kandidaten mehr als schwierig. Aufgenommen werden schließlich Kuchiki und Ogiue, wobei letztere eine sehr problematische Person zu sein scheint, denn ihre kurze und prägnante Vorstellung lautet: »Ich heiße Ogiue und ich hasse Otakus«. Diese dreiteilige OVA bildet die Brücke zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Staffel und ist daher insofern bedeutsam, damit man den weiteren Storyverlauf nachvollziehen kann.
