Synopsis

A hundred years after Akane’s adventures, the magical realm of Kyou, which resembles Kyoto in the Heian period, is in turmoil due to a power struggle between the current emperor and the previous emperor, and the people of Kyou are in despair, fearing the end of the world. Therefore, a new priestess is to take care of the matter, and the choice falls on the unsuspecting student Karin, who is suddenly brought to Kyou by the White Dragon. Unlike Akane, who was accompanied by her schoolmates Tenma and Shimon, Karin is alone in Kyou, surrounded by political intrigue, and her Guardians can hardly be persuaded to cooperate, as they belong to opposing sides … and then a second priestess turns up! Is Karin really up to the task?
