Synopsis

Unfortunately, life is not always fair, and Mary Lennox has to learn this at a young age. Her familiar everyday life with her wealthy parents in India comes to an abrupt end when they both die in a cholera epidemic. Now the ten-year-old girl has to move to England and stay with her taciturn uncle, who barely pays any attention to her. In the large castle that is now her home, she sometimes feels lonely, but fortunately, she soon makes friends with the servant boy, Dicon, and his older sister, Martha. In addition, while walking around outside, she discovers a secret garden near her house, which quickly brightens up her and her friends’ dull lives. What other secrets will they uncover on this estate?
