Synopsis

Youta Moteuchi is devastated: His crush Moemi Hayakawa has a crush on Youta’s best friend Takashi Niimai, the aloof girl crush of the whole school. Moemi asks Youta, of all people, whom the other girls mock as a “wallflower” by deliberately misreading the kanji of his family name, to help her get together with Takashi. On his way home, Youta passes a video shop called “Gokuraku” (Heaven), whose existence he had never noticed before – and whose manager literally forces a video with an “auspicious” cover on him without expecting payment for it.

When Youta plays this video at home, something strange happens: a girl from the video named Ai Amano climbs out of the screen and into his room! Ai is a video girl and her job is to comfort the viewer of the video. However, Youta’s video recorder has recently been damaged – and Ai’s character is not entirely unaffected by this when it plays, as is her bust.

However, Ai admires Youta’s selfless help for Moemi and decides to help the boy win the heart of his beloved. However, her video only has a playing time of one month, after which Ai will disappear …
