Synopsis
The master of the Tateoka Dojo, Tesshusai, receives an urgent message that requires him to leave for China immediately. While he is away, he leaves his dojo in the hands of his son Shingurou, whom he completely trusts. Shingurou is not well respected by long-time fighters, but he is a master of the “Katsuzin sword style” and is known for his excellent swordsmanship.
Despite the changes, at first, life at the sword-fighting school is surprisingly peaceful, and even Koharu, Shingurou’s childhood friend, has joined the dojo. But the peace doesn’t last long, and after a series of break-ins, the Shogunate calls on all known dojos to patrol the city and protect the government. Now Shingurou, whose dojo now has only lovely female fighters apart from himself, is confronted by a group of cunning thieves who seem to have more on their minds than just stealing a few treasures. He struggles to find a balance between his exciting life with beautiful women and the needs of the government. After all, it is now up to Shingurou and his small troop of swordsmen to protect the city from the criminals.
