Description

Duke Fleed, the crown prince of the planet Fleed, barely survives the attack of King Vega’s armies. His planet is depopulated, and he flees as the last survivor to the distant Earth, where he takes the name Daisuke Umon. Although he is actually in love with King Vega’s daughter, his fate brings him together with the mecha Grendizer and makes him the protector of his new home.

The film represents a pilot episode for the series “UFO Robo Grendizer”.

Duke Fleed, der Kronprinz des Planeten Fleed, überlebt den Angriff der Armeen von König Vega nur knapp. Sein Planet wird entvölkert und er flieht als letzter Überlebender auf den fernen Trabanten Erde, wo er den Namen »Daisuke Umon« annimmt. Eigentlich war er in die Tochter von König Vega verliebt, doch sein Schicksal bringt ihn mit dem Mecha Grendizer zusammen und lässt ihn zum Beschützer seiner neuen Heimat werden.
