Dragon Ball Z Special 1: Bardock, The Father of Goku (1990)

“Dragon Ball Z Special 1: Bardock, The Father of Goku” tells the story of Bardock, Son Goku’s father, and explains how Son Goku came to Earth.

On behalf of Frieza, Bardock is on a campaign of conquest with his companions. While conquering the planet Kannassa, Bardock is injured by the local Thoma. The latter prophesies that he will be plagued by disgusting visions of the end of his people. When the first visions haunt him, he pays no attention to them. Only when he finally realises that said visions are becoming reality does he begin to fear them. Soon, he realises that Freezer wants to destroy his people.

Dieser prophezeit ihm, dass er von widerlichen Visionen über das Ende seines Volkes geplagt werden wird. Als ihn die ersten Visionen heimsuchen, schenkt er ihnen keine Beachtung. Erst als er feststellen muss, dass sie zur Wirklichkeit werden, bekommt er es mit der Angst zu tun. Er erkennt, dass Freezer sein Volk vernichten möchte.
