Eines Tages stürzt ein gewaltiger Meteor auf die Erde hinab. Zurück bleibt der Meteor und eine kleine Kapsel. Es wird vermutet, dass Aliens diese zurückließen und die Organisation »Project BB« übernimmt die Recherche. Als eines Tages Manabu Yoshimura, ein gewöhnlicher Schüler eine internationalen Universität, diese »Black Box« besichtigt, werden er und seine Freunde in einen verrückten Kampf involviert. Urplötzlich steht ein riesiger Roboter vor den acht Schülern und fordert diese auf, ihm den Meteoriten auszuhändigen. In diesem Moment beginnt auch die Kapsel sich zu verwandeln und bittet, ebenfalls in Form eines Roboters, die Jungs um Hilfe.
