Synopsis

15-year-old Isabelle Laustin is a young French aristocrat who grows up in Paris as the daughter of a wealthy family during the Prussian invasion in the late 19th century. When Paris is besieged by enemies and Napoleon III’s army suffers a bitter defeat, Isabelle flees to London disguised as a boy and works there as a secret agent. But these are turbulent times, and helping her faltering nation from the shadows is not exactly easy …
