Synopsis

Since her childhood, Jane has dreamed of one day learning to fly and finding a trace of her long-dead mother beyond the sky. However, her father, a rich English aristocrat, has other plans and has already married a new woman. William, the new stepson, despises his new father and doesn’t like his stepbrother George either. The latter eventually leaves the household and sets off for Asia to chase his own dream and build a flying machine.

Surrounded by the love of her family members and the servants, Jane nevertheless led a relatively happy life. Her feelings only really get into turmoil when a letter arrives informing her that Jane’s beloved brother George has been executed. Convinced that George is innocent and has survived, Jane decides to go in search of him to the unknown land in the east. For her and her new friends, there will soon be many secrets to unravel there, but some secrets should perhaps remain undiscovered forever …
