Coyote Ragtime Show (2006)

Three years ago, the legendary pirate king Bruce was murdered by the head of the crime syndicate Guild, Madame Marciano. Previously, Bruce stole 10 billion space dollars from the supposedly secure central bank and hid them in a special vault on the planet Graceland. As his end approached, he assigned the pirate Mister to protect his daughter Franca in case of doubt because only she knew the way to the vault and thus to the treasure.

But Mister has other worries at first: he is currently serving time in prison and has only ten days left. Now, the investigator Angelica Burns appears on the scene but has to learn that the notorious Madamo Marciano is already putting out feelers for Mister and sending her robot killer squad, the “12 Sisters”, after him. Mister and his followers flee and meet Franca in his bar.

Franca knows very well that the treasure is probably much more important to the pirates than she is, but she accompanies Mister and the rest of the crew of the spaceship Coyote to the planet. But time is running out because, in addition to the two investigators, Marciano’s robot killers are still hot on the group’s heels. The situation on Graceland is critical because the civil war there is now so bad that the Milky Way Federation plans to blow up the planet in a week – and, with it, the treasure.

Vor drei Jahren wurde der legendäre Piratenkönig Bruce vom Kopf des Verbrechersyndikat Guild, Madame Marciano, ermordet. Zuvor hat Bruce 10 Milliarden Space-Dollar direkt aus der vermeintlich sicheren Zentralbank entwendet und diese auf dem Planeten Graceland in einem speziellen Tresorraum versteckt. Als sein Ende nahte, beauftragte er den Piraten Mister damit, seine Tochter Franca im Zweifelsfall zu beschützten, denn nur sie kennt den Weg zum Tresorraum und damit zum Schatz.

Doch Mister hat zunächst andere Sorgen: Er sitzt gerade im Gefängnis ein und hat nur noch zehn Tage von seiner Strafe übrig. Nun erscheint die Ermittlerin Angelica Burns auf der Bildfläche, muss aber erfahren, dass die berüchtigte Madamo Marciano bereits ihre Fühler nach Mister ausstreckt und ihm ihr Roboter-Killerkommando, die »12 Schwestern«, auf den Hals hetzt. Mister und seine Getreuen ergreifen die Flucht und treffen in seiner Bar auf besagte Franca.

Franca weiß sehr wohl, dass den Piraten der Schatz wohl wesentlich wichtiger ist als sie, dennoch begleitet sie Mister und die restliche Crew des Raumschiffs Coyote zum Planeten. Doch die Zeit drängt gewaltig, denn neben nunmehr zwei Ermittlerinnen sind der Gruppe auch weiterhin Marcianos Roboterkiller auf den Fersen. Und die Situation auf Graceland ist kritisch, denn der dortige Bürgerkrieg ist mittlerweile so schlimm, dass die Milky Way Federation plant, den Planeten in einer Woche in die Luft zu jagen – und damit auch den Schatz.

Sinopsis:
La insurrección no está tolerada y el gobierno se propone controlar el planeta Graceland, en el que reina el temible pirata Bruce. Mientras tanto, la investigadora federal Angelica Burns trata de localizar a un reconocido criminal conocido como Mister. La información que maneja la conduce a una prisión local en la que está cumpliendo condena por una infracción de tráfico. Las cosas se complican cuando descubre que un grupo conocido como las 12 Hermanas también van tras Mister.
