Haha wo Tazunete Sanzenri ist eine Geschichte über einen italienischen Jungen, Marco, und seine Reise auf der Suche nach seiner Mutter. Italien war in einer tiefen Depression. Um ihre Familie zu unterstützen, ging Marco´s Mutter nach Argentinien, um als eine Hausangestellte zu arbeiten. Aber nachdem sie ihrer Familie schrieb, dass sie krank sei, hörten ihre Briefe auf. So entscheidet sich Marco dazu, nach Argentinien zu reisen, um nach ihr zu suchen. Auf diesem Weg trifft er viele wunderbare Menschen und erlebt eine Vielzahl an Abenteuern.
