Description

The orphan Emily has a huge imagination and often sees people and nature spirits where, for others, only the wind rustles or the waves crash against the rocks. She likes to record her experiences in writing, and when she is out in nature, she even names the trees. After her father, whom she loved dearly, died, she was taken in by her Aunt Elizabeth, Aunt Laura and Cousin Jimmy in New Moon, where she learns about a stricter form of education. In the end, it is not easy for the strong-willed girl to fit in and make new friends, but with the help of her imagination, anything is possible.

Das Waisenkind Emily hat eine gewaltige Fantasie und sieht oft Personen und Naturgeister, wo für andere nur der Wind raschelt oder die Wellen gegen die Felsen schlagen. Ihre Erlebnisse hält sie gerne schriftlich fest, und wenn sie in der Natur ist, gibt sie sogar den Bäumen einen Namen. Nach dem Tod ihres über alles geliebten Vaters wird sie von ihren Tanten Elizabeth und Laura und Cousin Jimmy in New Moon aufgenommen, wo sie eine strengere Form der Erziehung kennenlernt. Für das willensstarke Mädchen ist es hier schlussendlich nicht so einfach, sich anzupassen und neue Freunde zu finden, aber mit der Hilfe ihrer Imagination ist alles möglich!
