Description

After his mother passes away, Atonio and his family move from West Germany to his father’s home country of Sardinia. There, everyone calls him Tottoi. Tottoi tries get used to his new life and make new friends. While taking a swim in a cavern he stumbles across a seal that is thought to be extinct.

Der Junge Tottoi lebt auf Sardinen und ist fasziniert von der wunderschönen Landschaft. Jeden Tag geht er an den Strand und erkundet Höhlen. Eines Tages trifft er bei einem seiner Ausflügen auf zwei Robben, die er von diesem Zeitpunkt an auch täglich besucht. Als die Erwachsenen von der Begegnung mit den Robben erfahren, sperren sie diese in ein Aquarium. Es bricht dem Jungen das Herz, als er seine Freunde in Gefangenschaft sieht. Tottoi nimmt all seinen Mut zusammen und versucht nun seine tierischen Gefährten zu befreien …
