City Hunter Special: Goodbye My Sweetheart / シティーハンタースペシャル グッド・バイ・マイ・スイート・ハート

Information

Synopsis

Private detective Ryo Saeba and his hot-tempered partner Kaori Makimura form the “City Hunter” team and take on all cases that are too difficult for the Tokyo police. Their latest assignment comes from actress Emi Makaze, who is searching for her long-lost brother Takeaki, whom she has always dreamed of seeing on stage one day. For in her current play, she has been cast in the lead role and has received a bouquet of black roses, which has raised suspicion about her family member who has been missing for 13 years.

Shortly afterwards, Emi is abducted to an unknown location along with Kaori, who was supposed to be protecting her. It turns out that Kaori’s brother is now known as “The Professor” and has become a disillusioned soldier who plans to raze an entire district of Tokyo to the ground just to get back at the government. Can Ryo save the two women and prevent the destruction of Shinjuku along the way?

Still, that Shogou. How could he go asking Kaori to play his girlfriend? A modern-day mystery of frightening proportions, a fin-de-siecle example of bad taste.

Come on, I’m not going to die. Look, I haven’t gotten those panties of Atsuko’s yet. (Laughing) So I really can’t die just now.

If you try to contact Ms. Kumi, you will be kicked out of the ring and on your way to Hell.

If you let me draw first, you won’t be able to regret it in this world.
