Man sagt, dass ein Phönix alle 500 Jahre mit einem Schlüssel, welcher mit der guten Seele eines Menschen verbunden ist, wiedergeboren wird. Toto, ein alter Phönix, sucht in diesem fünfhundertsten Jahr nach dem Schlüssel und Mary Bell hilft ihm dabei. Doch Toto bekommt einen verdorbenen Schlüssel in die Hände und verwandelt sich daraufhin in einen bösen Phönix. Mary Bell und ihre Freunde beginnen mit der Suche nach einem reinen Schlüssel, sodass Toto als guter Phönix wiedergeboren werden kann …
