This is the general discussion topic for the anime “Spice and Wolf: Wolf and Amber Melancholy,” in which you can post just about anything that’s too generalised for the episode section and doesn’t quite have a review character. Relativ nahtlos fügt sich dieser OVA an die erste Staffel an und ziemlich abrupt endet er. Inhaltlich wie die vorangegangene Serie, versteht er es mit seiner leisen Art eine wundervolle und besinnliche Atmosphäre zu verbreiten und macht so Appetit auf die nächste Staffel, erinnert aber auch daran, dass man bis zu deren Beendigung warten sollte, um nicht aus der träumerischen Idylle durch Unterbrechungen gerissen zu werden.
Wer Holo in Staffel 1 ins Herz geschlossen hat, kommt auch bei dieser OVA voll auf seine Kosten.
In einem lockeren Szenario wird Holos Gefühlswelt etwas näher beleuchtet. Gezeigt wird eine sehr mädchenhafte Seite der weisen Wolfsdame, die anscheinend weniger Alkohol verträgt, als sie behauptet und wohl noch weniger Erfahrung darin hat, eifersüchtige Impulse zu unterdrücken.
Eine schöne Episode ohne große Action oder Drama, aber mit viel Charme und Humor.
