Danemon Ban: The Monster Exterminator (1935)

Hero Ban Dan’emon is just in time when a notice is posted looking for someone to put an end to the haunting in the castle for an appropriate reward. The brave hero does not hesitate and sets out to get to the bottom of the matter. Soon, he comes across a group of Tanuki who fool him with their transformation skills and manage to capture him. But they have not reckoned with Dan’emon’s strength and skill, so the tide turns quite quickly.

Der Held Ban Dan’emon kommt gerade richtig, als per Aushang jemand gesucht wird, der gegen eine angemessene Belohnung dem Spuk im Schloss ein Ende bereitet. Da fackelt der wackere Held nicht lange und macht sich auf, um der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen. So stößt er bald auf eine Gruppe Tanuki, die ihn mit ihren Verwandlungskünsten an der Nase herumführen und es schaffen, ihn gefangen zu nehmen. Doch sie haben nicht mit der Kraft und der Geschicklichkeit von Dan’emon gerechnet, und so wendet sich das Blatt recht schnell.
