Description

For her first year of high school, Fu Sawatari moves to Takehara, a scenic old town near Hiroshima, on the Inland Sea. Her father, who has passed away, grew up in Takehara. She loves taking photographs with her father’s old film camera, a Rollei 35S. The story follows her and the friends who gather around her as she comes to love her new home.

Fu Sawatari ist ein liebes, unheimlich schüchternes Mädchen, das nach fünf Jahren Abwesenheit in eine, von ihrem verstorbenen Vater geliebte, Kleinstadt zieht und jeden Tag neue Abenteuer erlebt. Ihre große Leidenschaft ist die Fotografie. Selbst ohne ihre kleine Kamera hält sie ständig Ausschau nach tollen Motiven und knipst symbolisch mit ihrem Finger ein schönes Bild. Leider ist sie in solchen Momenten immer ein wenig abwesend und bringt sich nicht selten in Schwierigkeiten. Glücklicherweise steht ihr ihre beste Freundin Kaoru Hanawa immer zu Seite und spielt den Aufpasser für die tollpatschige Fu.
