Die Tokyo Butei High School ist eine Spezialschule, an der bewaffnete Detektive, die Butei, im Waffengebrauch ausgebildet werden. Kinji Touyama ist Schüler des zweiten Jahrgangs und verfügt über die spezielle Fähigkeit, dass er, sobald er durch das andere Geschlecht erregt wird, geradezu übermenschliche Kräfte entwickelt. Das hält er jedoch geheim, damit er weiterhin ein gewöhnliches, friedliches Leben führen kann. Eines Tages gerät er jedoch auf dem Weg zur Schule in einen Bombenanschlag und trifft in der Folge auf Aria H. Kanzaki, womit seine friedliche Schulzeit ein jähes Ende findet.
