Ben-To (2011)

As a poor school boy, it’s only natural that You Satou is attracted to offers like a bento for only half the price – trying to grab it though, he ended up unconscious and taking a small break on the supermarket floor. When he comes to he notices that all the bento has been sold out! There seems to be an actual war going on at grocery stores and You is forcefully dragged into it by Sen Yarizui, leader of the Half-Pricer Club. You enters the war and fights against other participants (also called wolves) for cheap instant food.

Als der arme Schüler You Satou eines Tages den Supermarkt betritt, sieht er dort ein Angebot für ein Bento zum halben Preis. Nichtsahnend greift er danach, nur um daraufhin bewusstlos am Boden zu enden. Durch diese Aktion wird ihm bewusst, dass ein erbitterter, gnadenloser »Supermarkt-Überlebenskampf« um Bentos zum halben Preis tobt.

Sinopsis:
La historia se centra en un chico de instituto más pobre que las ratas llamado You Satou, aficionado a los videojuegos. Un día encuentra en un supermercado un bento (una de esas cajitas con comida preparada) a mitad de precio. En el momento en el que se acerca a cogerlo, se desmaya y cae inconsciente al suelo, y al recobrar la conciencia se topará con que todas las cajas ya se han vendido. El dinero apremia y Satou acaba de meterse en una fiera batalla en la que no hay límites, ya que no es el único que quiere llevarse el bento a mitad de precio.
