Description

Hamaji is a strong and independent girl who lives alone in a mountain. Surviving as a hunter just like her grandfather, she one day receives a letter from her brother who lives in Edo. He wants her help in hunting "fuse", half-human half-dog beings who consume human souls. Reaching the big city, she gets lost and ends up meeting Shino, a fuse.

Während der Edo-Zeit gibt es acht Samurai, die dem Satomi-Clan in den Sengoku-Kriegen beistanden. Die acht Krieger verband eine Besonderheit: Sie waren allesamt Abkömmlinge der Liebschaft zwischen Prinzessin Fuse und einem Hund namens Yatsufusa. Daher sind sie nicht nur Halbmenschen mit entsprechenden Fähigkeiten, sondern tragen auch das Zeichen für »Hund« im Nachnamen. Hamaji, eine Jägerin, hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, alle Fuse zu töten – um dem Rachefeldzug der Satomi ein Ende zu setzen.
