Idol Densetsu Eriko (1989)

“Idol Densetsu Eriko” is the story of the future idol Eriko Tamura. As the child of a singer and an entrepreneur in the music business, she came into contact with the entertainment industry at an early age and has loved it since she was little. But her parents want a more normal life for her and, in principle, want to keep her out of the professional life they lead. One day, however, her father dies in a severe car accident, and her mother has been in a coma since then. Eriko is now placed in the care of Mr Uchida, her father’s best friend, who is to look after her from then on. After these events, she begins to take the path her parents have always advised her not to take and, against the wishes of her new guardian, turns to the media world to become an idol. However, despite her innate talent, the road to the top is not easy for her. Can she win the hearts of viewers in Japan, and will her mother ever wake up and save her from her uncle?

»Idol Densetsu Eriko« ist die Geschichte des späteren Idols Eriko Tamura. Als Kind einer Sängerin und eines Unternehmers im Musikgewerbe kam sie schon früh mit der Entertainmentindustrie in Kontakt und liebte sie, seit sie klein war. Doch ihre Eltern möchten ein normaleres Leben für sie und wollen sie prinzipiell aus dem Berufsleben, dass sie führen, heraushalten. Eines Tages jedoch stirbt ihr Vater bei einem schweren Autounfall und ihre Mutter liegt seit dem Unfall im Koma. Eriko wird nun in die Obhut von Mr. Uchida, dem besten Freund ihres Vaters gegeben, der fortan auf sie aufpassen soll. Nach diesen Ereignissen beginnt sie den Weg einzuschlagen, vor dem ihre Eltern ihr immer abgeraten haben, und wendet sich gegen den Willen ihres neuen Erziehungsberechtigten der Medienwelt zu, um ein Idol zu werden. Trotz ihres angeborenen Talents ist der Weg an die Spitze für sie jedoch kein leichter. Kann sie die Herzen der Zuschauer in Japan erobern und wird ihre Mutter jemals wieder aufwachen und sie vor ihrem Onkel retten?
