Pokémon The Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened (2013)

The last survivors of the once numerous Genesect are searching for a new home under the leadership of a shiny Genesect, as their old habitat has been destroyed and became uninhabitable a long time ago. On their journey, they finally arrive in New Tork City, where they believe they have found a suitable place. However, their new nest now threatens the city’s power substation, and they attack anyone who even comes close to their nest, so the residents and other Pokémon of the metropolis are not entirely happy about their new neighbours.

Ash, Pikachu and their friends arrive in the city and want to defuse the situation, but at the same time, Mewtwo befriends the Genesect, as it was created by humans just like them and can therefore put itself in their shoes. The red leader of the Genesect, on the other hand, does not like Mewtwo’s interference at all, which could quickly develop into a dangerous conflict. Will Ash and his comrades manage to restore peace in the city in time?

Die letzten Überlebenden der einstmals zahlreichen Genesect suchen unter der Führung eines Shiny-Genesect nach einer neuen Heimat, da ihr alter Lebensraum zerstört wurde und schon vor langer Zeit nicht mehr bewohnbar geworden ist. Auf ihrer Reise treffen sie schließlich in New Tork City ein, wo sie glauben, ein passendes Habitat gefunden zu haben. Doch zum einen bedroht ihr neues Nest nun das Umspannwerk der Stadt und zum anderen greifen sie jeden an, der sich ihrem Nest auch nur ansatzweise nähert, weswegen die Bewohner und sonstigen Pokémon der Metropole nicht ganz glücklich über ihre neuen Nachbarn sind.

Auch Ash, Pikachu und ihre Freunde treffen in der Stadt ein und wollen die Situation entschärfen, doch zeitgleich freundet sich Mewtu mit den Genesect an, da es genauso wie sie von Menschen geschaffen wurde und sich deswegen gut in ihre Lage hineinversetzen kann. Dem roten Anführer der Genesect gefällt die Einmischung von Mewtu hingegen überhaupt nicht, was sich schnell zu einem gefährlichen Konflikt entwickeln könnte. Werden Ash und seine Kameraden es schaffen, den Frieden in der Stadt rechtzeitig wiederherzustellen?
