Ein kleines Dorf in den Bergen wird von einem fürchterlichen Dämon heimgesucht, der mordet und Frauen entführt, um seine Nachkommenschaft zu züchten. Zeitgleich hat sich ein weißer Bär in die Region verirrt und wird von den Ronin der Region gejagt.

Kurz nachdem der Dorfälteste das letzte Mädchen des Dorfes dem Dämon zum Opfer geben möchte, kommt es zu einer Begegnung zwischen dem Mädchen und dem weißen Bären, den sie Gambo nennt und um Hilfe bittet, woraufhin das Schicksal eine unerwartete Wendung erfährt.
