Bei der »kleinen Sommergeschichte« handelt es sich im Wesentlichen um eine Neuedition der ersten OVA, die die romantische Begegnung von Pico und Tamotsu zum Gegenstand hat. Diese Version wurde deutlich entschärft, indem sämtliche expliziten erotischen Momente in Wort und Bild eliminiert und durch zusätzlichen Dialogtext ersetzt wurden. Des Weiteren wurde dieser überarbeiteten OVA ein neues Opening in Überlänge spendiert.
