Description

A series of short horror stories based around Japanese myths and urban legends. The series is framed around an old man telling these tales to schoolchildren on a playground using kamishibai, a traditional Japanese storytelling method using paper scrolls.

Auch in der zweiten Staffel des »Yami Shibai«-Anime wartet der Kamishibaiya – der alte Mann mit seiner merkwürdigen gelben Maske und seinem Kamishibai – wieder jede Woche um fünf Uhr abends auf die Kinder auf dem kleinen Spielplatz, um ihnen gruselige Geschichten zu erzählen, die auf japanischer Folklore basieren. Woche um Woche aufs Neue hören die Kinder von dem alten Kamishibaiya auf seinem Fahrrad eine neue Gruselgeschichte.
