Ryuu ist ein Profi-Spieler (Kartenspiel etc.), genau wie Yoko Makino. Er hat den Ruf, den Gegnern das Glück zu rauben. Gegen Yoko soll er beim Spiel antreten, aber nimmt seine Konkurrentin nicht ernst. Ein böser Fehler wie er schon merken wird, denn gegen Yoko hat selbst er keine Chance. So richtig einsehen möchte er das nicht und versucht Yoko mit unfairen Mittel zu besiegen. Für Ryuu wäre es eine Schmach gegen eine Frau als Verlierer vom Platz zu gehen.
