Manami ist von Beruf Ärztin und arbeitet wie ihr Verlobter Akihiro im gleichen Krankenhaus. Um frei für ihren Verlobten zu sein, muss sie erst ihre lesbische Beziehung zu Ikuko beenden. Manami war die Gouvernante von Ikuko und sie lernten sich so kennen. Richtige Gefühle für ihre Freundin besaß Manami nie, sondern diese diente vielmehr nur als Bettgespielin. Manami begann Ikukos Anrufe nicht anzunehmen und schob es auf den Stress im Krankenhaus.
