Dr. Yusuke Zen (geboren 1963) ist der Erschaffer und rechtmäßige Besitzer von Linear. Seine Spezialität und somit Fachgebiet ist die »Android circuit control theory«. Er veröffentlichte einen Chip, den »Complete Chip« und kurz danach verschwand er spurlos. Dieser Chip trägt ein Geheimnis mit sich und Dr. Zen ist sich später erst über die Gefährlichkeit des Chips bewusst. Seine Gedankenlosigkeit brachte Linear auch in Gefahr. Für Dr. Zen ist Linear wie ein Mensch, den es um jeden Preis zu beschützen gilt. Er steckte sie in eine Kapsel und blockierte ihre Erinnerung. Inständig hofft er, Linear in 10 Jahren wieder zu sehen. Eine minimale Hoffnung besteht, denn Dr. Zen wurde nicht für tot erklärt.
