Gori ist ein Freund von Tohru und recht muskulös. Meist hat er eine Bauarbeiter-Kluft an und als passendes Accessoire seinen heiß geliebten Spaten dabei. Er ist recht wortkarg, aber wenn es ums Feiern geht, mischt er gerne mit. Eine ganz besondere Schwäche hat er für das schmackhafte Essen von Tohrus Mutter. Hier kommt z.B. sein Spaten zum Einsatz, falls jemand ihm das Essen streitig machen will. Er wirkt »unvollständig« ohne seinen Spaten, aber er zaubert ihn in Windeseile herbei, wenn man nicht damit rechnet.
