Daisuke ist ein nicht besonders heller Junge, der gerne einfach drauflos stürmt und sein digitaler Partner V-mon folgt ihm dabei fröhlich. Weil Taichi einen Teil von sich selbst in ihm sieht, schenkt er ihm seine Schutzbrille. Zu seiner Schwester Jun hat er ein eher schlechtes Verhältnis, was man ihm seiner Einfältigkeit wegen genauso gut ansieht, wie die Tatsache, dass er alles versucht um Hikaris Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen.
