Amy ist eine koreanisch-amerikanische Oberschülerin und lebt bei ihrer Tante Joy. Sie ist tollpatschig, schreckhaft und verletzt sich oft, weshalb sie mit Pflastern und Bandagen übersät ist.

Seit einem Vorfall in ihrer Kindheit hat sie Probleme beim Autofahren. Auch beim Busfahren wird ihr so übel, sodass sie sich übergeben muss. Camilla ist ihre Nachbarin und war bis zu einem Streit auch ihre Kindheitsfreundin. Zusammen mit Peter, den sie nicht besonders leiden kann, gingen sie in dieselbe Grundschule.
