Sie ist die Großmutter von Ryouta Sugihara und kümmert sich um ihn, da er zu ihr zum Übernachten kam. Sie verstarb zusammen mit ihrem Enkel bei einem Verkehrsunfall und landete zusammen mit ihm in dem »Raum«. In der Mission schützt sie ihren Enkel mit ihrem Leben. Jouichirou Nishi behauptet, dass sie ihren Enkel zu sehr verwöhnt und das dadurch nie ein anständiger Junge aus ihm werden wird. Anderen Menschen gegenüber ist sie sehr offen und erlangt dadurch schnell ihr Vertrauen.
