Kaede ist die ältere Schwester von Nanami und Kurumi, wie diese ist auch sie schon seit ihrer Kindheit eng mit Masaru befreundet. Da sie aber die letzten Jahre mit studieren beschäftigt war und nur selten nach Hause fahren konnte, hat Kaede auch etwas den Kontakt zu ihrem Freund verloren.
Da ihr Studium aber kurz vor dem Abschluss steht, hat sie auch endlich wieder etwas mehr Freizeit und ist in der Lage ihre Familie zu besuchen. Allerdings wird sie noch vorher von Masarus plötzlichen Liebesgeständnis überrascht, was sie schon ein wenig Ratlos zurücklasst, da sie eigentlich nie mehr als einen kleinen Bruder in Masaru gesehen hat. Zu ihrer Überraschung spürt sie aber auf einmal, dass tief in ihrem Inneren noch mehr als das ist und sie kann es kaum noch erwarten bis sie ihn endlich wiedersehen kann.
