Iwao Tsuwabuki ist das Oberhaupt der Tsuwabuki Familie. Dieser Clan ist bekannt dafür enorm starke Erdmagier hervorzubringen. Er wird jedoch von seiner Tochter Kureha besiegt, damit diese ihre eigenen Ziele verwirklichen kann. Kureha hat ihren Vater in einer Art Erdummantelung versiegelt, sodass dieser nach und nach stirbt. Bevor er jedoch endgültig das Zeitliche segnet, erzählt er noch Kazuma von Kurehas Plänen.
