Lapis ist eine von Bernhardt erschaffene menschliche Marionette, die ihm dient. Sie ist eine exzellente Schwertkämpferin und kann es locker mit Ayano aufnehmen.
Sie scheint keinerlei Gefühle zu besitzen, da sie nur das tut was ihr Meister von ihr verlangt. Zudem betont sie noch die Tatsache, dass sie Menschen töten muss um Gefühle zu erlangen.

Sie ist so konstruiert worden, dass sie Kazumas Geliebter aus früheren Tagen bis aufs Haar gleicht, was diesen zur Weißglut bringt und ihn ausrasten lässt. Am Anfang konnte er sie zwar noch nicht bekämpfen, da er durch sie die Erinnerung mit Tsuo Rin verbindet, was sich aber im Laufe der Zeit zu ändern scheint.
