Kayo ist ebenfalls eine ältere Dame aus dem Altersheim, in dem die Mutter von Sousuke arbeitet. Als durch den starken Sturm, der Meeresspiegel steigt und das Altersheim untergeht, schützt Granmammare dieses, durch eine Art künstliche Blase, welche bewirkt, das man unter Wasser atmen kann. Sie, Noriko, Yoshie und Toki, sowie einige andere Damen sind hellauf begeistert, weil sie unter Wasser wieder laufen und springen können und veranstalten deswegen ein kleines Wettrennen, wobei Kayo die schnellste von allen ist.
