Der begnadete Fußballer ist der Schwarm vieler Mädchen, worunter sich auch Mami befindet, und plant im nächsten Jahr auf eine Highschool außerhalb des Ortes zu wechseln, wo er das Fußballspielen noch intensiveren und fördern kann. Was insbesondere für Mami ein Problem darstellt, ist sie doch Hals über Kopf in ihn verliebt und somit bereits einen Schritt weiter als pure Schwärmerei. Dennoch hat sie Ishida bisher nicht ihre Liebe gestanden, da er so unnahbar wirkt, mit all den anderen konkurrierenden Mädchen um ihn herum und seiner etwas reserviert anmutenden Ausstrahlung.
