Makiko ist die erste Gegnerin von Tomoki Sakurai alias „Mask Dupants“ im Wrestling-Turnier, das von Mikako Satsukitane ausgerufen wurde. Weil ihre Eltern einen Schreibwarenladen in Sorami City besitzen, wird sie als Pencil Madonna of the Sorami Shopping District angekündigt. Da sie in der Schule dem American Wrestling Club angehört, kennt sie alle Griffe und Techniken genau, und wischt mit Tomiko erstmal den Boden, bevor sie dann doch gegen seine „Spezial-Attacke“ unterliegt, die diesem allerdings wütende Reaktionen der weiblichen Zuschauer beschert.
