Die frühere Eiskunstläuferin May Wong stößt als glühende Verehrerin von Layla Hamilton zur Kaleido Stage. Ihr Ehrgeiz übertrifft den von Sora Naegino sogar noch, das äußert sich aber leider hauptsächlich in ihrer herrischen und hochnäsigen Persönlichkeit.

Da sie aus China stammt, wird sie von Sarah Dupont natürlich mit offenen Armen empfangen, die sofort wieder neue Inspiration für ihr Martial Arts-Training erhofft. May sozialisiert sich zunächst aber überhaupt nicht mit den anderen Artisten, sondern tritt im Gegenteil so manchem mit ihrer Arroganz auf die Füße. An Energie mangelt es ihr keineswegs und bald wird es ihr erstes großes Ziel, den neuen Star Leon Oswald davon zu überzeugen, sie als Bühnenpartnerin zu akzeptieren, obwohl sie noch ein Neuling ist.
