Manamis Großmutter ist eine freundliche alte Dame, die ihr Tagwerk sehr ruhig und entspannt angeht. Sollte es ihr Mann mit seinem kindischen Unfug mal zu weit treiben, hat sie jedoch eine todsichere Methode parat, ihn zu bremsen, indem sie prophezeit, ihm jedes Kopfhaar einzeln auszuzupfen - auf dieses Thema reagiert er sehr empfindlich, schließlich hätte er sowieso nur noch so wenige Haare und ist dementsprechend sofort wieder brav. Auch wenn sie die Vernünftigere der beiden alten Herrschaften ist, sähe sie es genau wie ihr Mann gern, wenn Kyousuke und Manami ein Paar wären, nur dass sie das eben nicht so forciert wie der Großvater.
