Ein Lehrling der Großen Meisterin der Hexen, als diese den Titel noch nicht inne hatte und eine normale Hexe war. Hanamomo wurde von ihr aufgenommen, als sie auf einem ihrer Trainingsreisen war und dabei auf ein brennendes Haus stieß. Nicht imstande das Feuer zu löschen und die sich im Haus befindende Person zu retten nahm sie sich deren Tochter an und brachte ihr den Umgang mit Magie bei. Hanamomo lernte schnell und wurde so schon bald zu einer der mächtigsten Hexen im Land.
