Karin und ihre Zwillingsschwester Cecil waren vor zehn Jahren für das Massaker in Saras Heimatstadt verantwortlich - als sie sich nun wieder begegnen, stellt die Weltraumpiratin entsetzt fest, dass die beiden keinen Tag gealtert zu sein scheinen. Sie brauchen Sara Scorpion, in Wahrheit Sara von Bernstein, denn nur jemand aus ihrem Geschlecht kann das Schwert von Bernstein benutzen, mit dessen Hilfe sich die Schwestern die Galaxie untertan machen wollen.

Äußerlich lassen sie sich kaum unterscheiden, sind ähnlich angezogen und tragen beide einen weißen Bausch in ihrem Haar, bei Karin sitzt dieser allerdings links und ihr Kleid sowie die Handschuhe sind in Blau gehalten. Außerdem führt sie einen schweren Säbel mit roter Lichtschwert-Klinge.

Beide haben ausgesprochen sadistische Züge und erfreuen sich daran, ihre Gefangenen (neben Sara auch noch Sylia) aufs Extremste zu demütigen - Karin entwickelt dabei besonders hinterhältige Pläne und ist von den Schwestern auch die dominantere.
